Timadoras compulsivas es un remake de la comedia de 1988 dirigida por Frank Oz. Dos hombres intentan hacer frente a su continua rivalidad apostando a ver quién puede estafar antes 50.000 dólares a alguna adinerada mujer estadounidense, en esta ocasión los timadores son timadoras. Dos estafadoras profesionales, a cual más diferente. Una de ellas es elegante y sofisticada (Anne Hathaway), la otra en cambio es tosca y algo chabacana (Rebel Wilson). Cuando sus vidas se crucen, unirán sus fuerzas, y tratarán de aprender la una de la otra. El objetivo: intentar cazar las fortunas de todos aquellos millonarios pardillos que se crucen en su camino.
Sus actrices protagonistas son Rebel Wilson (¿No es romántico?) y Anne Hathaway (Ocean’s 8). Completan el reparto Alex Sharp (Cómo hablar con chicas en las fiestas), Raffaello Degruttola (Mute) y Tim Blake Nelson (La balada de Buster Scruggs).
